PerPic Looks and Session Presets

PerPic combines two different kinds of customization: session presets determine how a timed capture session behaves, while camera-inspired looks influence the visual character of photos. Keeping those concepts separate makes the app easier to understand.

Session presets

Apple currently names Quick Shot, Portrait, Outfit and Couples as preset options. A preset provides a ready starting configuration for a particular type of self-photography. Users can also create custom sessions when the built-in timing does not match their needs.

Camera-inspired looks

The App Store describes a curated collection of digital and film-inspired looks. These are visual treatments rather than separate camera hardware. They are intended to give photos a more distinctive style after capture or as part of the capture experience, depending on the current app implementation.

Choosing a preset

Use a portrait-oriented preset when the goal is a straightforward self-portrait session, an outfit workflow when clothing and poses are the focus, and a couples setup when two people need to move through the frame together. A custom preset is useful when timing is more specific.

Paid features

Some PerPic features and looks may be part of PerPic+. Availability can change by app version. Check the current App Store listing and in-app purchase screen before assuming a particular look or layout is included in the free tier.
