PerPic Self-Timer: How Timed Photo Sessions Work

PerPic is built around multi-photo self-timer sessions rather than a single delayed shutter. Apple says users can choose a session preset or create a custom one, then set the delay, number of photos and time between shots.

Why multi-photo sessions are useful

Preset types

The current listing names Quick Shot, Portrait, Outfit and Couples as session presets. Their purpose is to provide ready-made starting points for different photographic situations. Custom presets allow a user to create a session around a preferred timing pattern.

1. Choose a stable phone position and framing.
2. Select a session preset or custom configuration.
3. Set the delay so there is enough time to enter position.
4. Choose the number of frames.

6. Review the resulting session and use Picks when available.
